Feb 14,  · Photoshop Elements 9: problems with cursor and menus I have Photoshop Elements 9 and for months it performed perfectly but now when try to use drop down menus to select something like a new font, the drop down menu is just a white box or the menu will drop down but not let me select anything. Jul 18,  · Suggest that you reset the tool. To do that, look for a box with lines in it on the right of the tool’s option bar. Click on this to reset. If that does not fix it, reset global preferences to default. Go to Edit>Preferences>General and look for this. Jun 06,  · Copy link to clipboard. Copied. I have Photoshop Elements 9, and recently the cursor has displayed as a bizarre mishmash of marks, namely over the tools and work in progress. I’ve reinstalled it and upgraded, but this problem persists. The cursor behaves normally in all other applications, and doesn’t improve if I fiddle with Elements Preferences.

Original title: Cursor problem in PSE9. I just purchased an Asus 17″ laptop. The recommended resolution is x I have to increase the display size to % to get a font size I can read. Everything works great at this setting except for the cursor in PSE9. When I am in the menu or workspace, the cursor arrow is fine.

I just purchased an Asus 17″ laptop. The recommended resolution is x Everything works great at this setting except for the cursor in PSE9. When I am in the menu or workspace, the cursor arrow is fine. When I try to use the cursor in a layout I get two very small arrows which are next to impossible to see. Also, when I try to use my brushes, they don’t work properly.

I haven’t tried any of the other tools yet. What can I do to make this work properly. LR seems to be ok. You need to leave the cursor size at normal to have the brushes work correctly. All I can think of at this moment is to get the display back to default i. You can also try setting the display to a lower resolution than the recommended resolution. If you still have issues, then I would suggest you to contact Adobe Photoshop Support.
